Assembles Quickly and Connects Easily
The CAMSS CDK Shelter attaches easily to the end of the CDK using existing Velcro strips. The opening in the shelter wall fits around the serving line window and personnel door on the CDK endwall and a rain flap attaches the shelter wall to the roof of the CDK to create a weatherproof connection. Two people can assemble this shelter and have it ready for use in less than 20 minutes.
Rugged Shelter
Designed for use throughout the world, the CAMSS CDK Shelter is ruggedized with high strength aluminum and Mil-Spec fabric. Measuring 20’ wide by 8’ long and 7’ at the eave, this portable shelter is a convenient way to protect serving line operations during austere weather conditions, such as wind, rain, dust storms, cold or hot temperatures, and snow.
Blackout Enhancement
CAMSS Corridors may be used to connect the CAMSS CDK Shelter to other shelters, such as dining halls or food storage shelters. This allows the CDK to be used during blackout conditions.
Extreme Environments
The CAMSS CDK Shelter will support a 20-pound snow load and will withstand a 100 mph wind load. Our unique design, combined with quality materials and a state of the art manufacturing process, provides a lightweight, portable shelter for use in extreme conditions.
Numerous Features
Equipped with two windows in the endwall, the CAMSS CDK Shelter allows for natural lighting. Three double zipper doors are included, one in the endwall and one on each side of the shelter.
Climate Controlled
The Extreme Weather Kit includes a ruggedized liner system that creates an attic space for efficient and effective insulation. A vent at the peak of the shelter’s endwall allows air to naturally flow from the attic space. The drum-tight fit of the cover assists in controlling the internal environment from extreme ambient temperatures of -55 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit with a full solar load.
Optional Features
Optional features include CAMSS Corridors, hard personnel doors, and an electrical kit with lights and outlets.
