The CAMSS20Q SSS is a highly portable, ruggedized, all-weather, military shelter system that is designed for rapid worldwide deployment. Two-inch deep aluminum arch frame components and rugged Mil Spec fabric provide a durable, lightweight shelter with a significant wind and snow load capability.

Rugged Shelter
The CAMSS20Q SSS measures 20 feet wide by 32 feet 6 inches long by 10 feet tall and is designed for rapid deployment and quick set-up. Its all aluminum frame and Mil Spec fabric enable this shelter to be deployed to rugged environments.
Complete Portable Shelter System
The complete system includes the fabric, frame, flooring, electrical kit with quick connect lights and outlets, extreme temperature kit, a hard personnel door, a double zipper door, spares kit, erection tools, and technical manual. Options include connecting corridors and 463L compatible composite containers.
Worldwide Use
Extensive field use of Compact All-weather Mobile Shelter Systems proves the durability and use of this shelter in extreme climates. The double-overlap, tight fit of the cover prevents water penetration during high wind and rain. During extreme weather testing, the CAMSS Shelter design maintained a comfortable room temperature with outside temperatures of -55 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit.
Rapid Deployment
The arch components of the CAMSS20Q nest into each other and the fabric cover system, extreme temperature liner, electrical system, and other accessories fit snugly into the compact shipping container to allow easy transport by land, air, or water.
Complexing
The CAMSS20Q SSS cover has a connector flap, which allows multiple shelters to be connected end-to-end to make a long, continuous shelter and a vestibule flap on the end panels that allow the shelter to be connected to other CAMSS shelters with a corridor. The unique design of the CAMSS20Q cover connector flap allows it to be tucked underneath the end of the cover during assembly if it is not needed, which reduces crucial set-up time.
HVAC Compatible
The shelter is equipped with a set of 18” HVAC ports in each end panel that are compatible with standard Mil-Spec ducts. A pass-through port allows electrical lines or hoses to be installed through the end walls without compromising the integrity of the shelter.
Fast Set-up Portable Shelter
A logical assembly sequence and color-coding makes set-up fast and easy. The CAMSS20Q Small Shelter System can be fully assembled in 30 minutes by a crew of four personnel and requires no special tools for erection.
Climate Controlled
The Extreme Weather Kit includes a ruggedized liner system that provides efficient and effective insulation. The single-piece upper liner creates a dead air attic space and vents in the end panels allow a natural flow of air. Sidewall mini liner panels attach directly to the upper liner panel and to the arches. A multi-panel version of the Extreme Weather Kit is also available. This liner kit includes single panels that are installed in each bay of the shelter and attach to each other along the edges.
Efficient Airflow
The CAMSS20Q removable plenum is attached to the upper liner panel at the factory, eliminating time-consuming installation procedures in the field. Its small design and position near the center of the upper liner place it well above the work area. It can be removed and laid flat for cleaning and disinfecting. The vents in the CAMSS20Q Shelter’s plenum are full circle cutouts, which are quiet during operation, and have removable covers, allowing for spot cooling throughout the shelter.
Optional Containers
The CAMSS Small Composite Container is available for storing and shipping the CAMSS20Q SSS. This lightweight, weather-tight container, measuring 44” wide x 102” long x 32” high, is stackable and forkliftable. One complete shelter, with set up tools, will fit in a container and six containers will fit on one 463L pallet for air shipment.
The CAMSS Rotationally Molded Container is also available for storing and shipping the CAMSS20Q SSS. This lightweight, weather-tight container, measuring 40” wide x 102” long x 48” high, is stackable and forkliftable. One complete shelter, with set up tools, will fit in a container and four containers will fit on one 463L pallet for air shipment.
