The CAMSS12EX Shelter System is a quick setup, versatile, all-weather portable shelter system for rapid worldwide deployments or for personal use.

Rugged Military Tent
Designed for use throughout the world, the CAMSS12EX is ruggedized with high strength aluminum and MIL-SPEC or heavy-duty commercial fabric.  Measuring 12’ wide x 16’ long, and with a sidewall height of approximately 6’, the CAMSS12EX is perfect for a variety of applications.  Some of these applications include emergency shelter, billeting, storage, offices, traffic control/security checkpoints, shops, medical facilities, and personnel decontamination processes.

Quick Setup Portable Shelter
The CAMSS12EX Shelter System can be fully assembled in 20 minutes by a trained crew of three personnel and no ladder is required.  Assembling the frame and installing the cover, liners, lights, and outlets from the ground creates a safe setup environment while saving time.  All tools required for setup are included.

Numerous Features
The standard CAMSS12EX Portable Shelter is equipped with two windows and a double zipper door in each endwall.  The doors can be rolled up and secured for easy access.  Also included with the CAMSS12EX Shelter System are a High Wind Kit, Anchoring Kit, and Spares/Repair Kit.  Options include an Extreme Temperature Kit, hard personnel doors, flooring, and a quick connect electrical system with four lights, two duplex outlets, and a distribution panel.

Climate Controlled
The optional Extreme Temperature Kit includes a ruggedized liner system that creates an attic space for efficient and effective insulation.  The drum-tight fit of the cover assists in controlling the internal environment from extreme ambient temperatures of -25 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit with a full solar load.  Optional military standard 18” HVAC ports are available, which are compatible with multiple types of environmental control units.

Useable Floor Space
The vertical end and sidewalls of the CAMSS12EX Portable Shelter enable it to provide a large amount of useable floor space in a very small package, with minimal shipping weight and cube.  This shelter design allows equipment and furniture to be placed within inches of the base frame, which is not possible with slanted wall or rounded style shelters.

Compact Transportation
Using less than 25 cubic feet of space when packed, this 192 square foot system allows for shipment using military trucks, ships, or aircraft.  Twenty-four (24) containerized CAMSS12EX Portable Shelter Systems can be stacked on one 463L pallet for air shipment.  The CAMSS12EX can also be bundled using bags and carrying straps for easy loading and unloading by personnel from a HMMWV or other military vehicles.

Optional Composite Container
The CAMSS Small Composite Container is available for storing and shipping the CAMSS12EX Shelter.  This lightweight, weather-tight container, measuring 44” wide x 102” long x 32” high, is stackable and forkliftable.  Four complete CAMSS12EX Portable Shelter Systems, with set up tools, will fit in one container and six containers will fit on one 463L pallet for air shipment.
